Experience
Anne Davis has 18 years of litigation experience. Immediately upon graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2000, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas E. O’Brien, P.J.S.C., in both the Civil and Family Law Divisions where she learned the inside workings of the judicial system and first-hand knowledge of what is important to Judges in evaluating witnesses, finding facts and ruling on issues of law. She then spent a year working with the fierce and respected trial attorney, Michael Wilbert, formerly of Wilbert, Montenegro & Thompson who taught her the art of conducting jury trials.
She has helped hundreds of clients with a variety of backgrounds and problems. She has true courtroom, litigation and trial experience in areas of civil litigation, personal injury, family law, real estate, criminal, and business law.
Personal Statement
My approach to divorce and family law in general is to be practical, allowing clients to spend the least amount of money to achieve the best possible outcome. Settlements can be reached even in the most difficult cases, which is always the wisest decision when the parties have children. Matters involving significant assets, high income, or high profile clients benefit the most from this approach, especially when it involves businesses that prefer to keep their matters as private and confidential as possible. I am an experienced, skilled negotiator in business, civil matters, real estate deals and divorce settlements. My desire to settle matters is never to be mistaken for weakness. It is a sincere attempt to do what is best for my clients. In those cases where the other party is wholly unreasonable or resistant, I will not hesitate to litigate when necessary. My years of litigation experience will be apparent in those situations.
